Applian FLV Player 2.0.24 is a free .FLV (Flash Video) Player.
The .FLV is a common video format across the Internet, used in sites like YouTube and thousands more. But they can´t be viewed in most players like Windows Media Player. That´s why this program is useful.
During the installation, you´re invited to install the Freecorder Toolbar, a free utility to record audio as MP3 from any source.
That additional program takes 2 Mb. of your disk space. The second "bonus" is an offer to install a 29 Mb. demo of Replay Converter, an utility to convert .FLV videos to other 36 formats.
Finally, you´re offered to install a 5 Mb. demo of Replay Media Catcher, to capture and save streaming content.
With Applian FLV Player you can open an .FLV video dragging the file and dropping it on the program´s windows, or pasting over that window the URL where you can find that video.
You can watch the video at half its size, its complete size or twice its size. You can adjust the volume, or shut down the player. There are no more funcions.
